The Reiki Lineage is the line of people through which the Reiki attunement has been given, a history of initiates.  The lineage of attunement is not necessarily a reflection on the skill of a Reiki practitioner, as each individual has his/her own talent and progression of spiritual development and each of us are connected to the same divine/spiritual energy that we recognize as the source of Reiki.  Each person, whether in a role of teacher or student, is unique.  Reiki does not promote dogma or religious attachment to ritual, as we are encouraged to find our own higher guidance and explore what works best in our healing practice.  The student can surpass what is provided by the teacher, so there are no limits!
